upon trying them on, they are very comfortable. The ankle stap gives a slight pin-up vibe without needing a heel. However, I ankle stap is more of a shiny vinyl, and the foot straps are a velvety fabric, making it not a very cohesive look. It would be much better if the same fabric was used throughout. I've included a photo showing the different fabrics. over all still appears to be a good sandle for a casual event or in your backyard.
